Hikers
The authentic « Chemin de Stevenson » crosses our campsite. It is by there that Robert-Louis and his donkey Modestine passed on September 30, 1878.
The current GR 70 (Stevenson), the GR 670 (Urban V), the GR 736 (Gorges et vallée du Tarn) and the GTMC (Grande Traversée du Massif Central) pass 200 meters from our campsite.
Many hikers on the « Chemin de Stevenson », covering the course Le Pont-de-Montvert - Florac, reputed to be difficult because it is long and without any possible supplies, appreciate their break at the Chantemerle campsite where it is good to come to rest tired legs in the Tarn and relax in our sauna. Some even take a longer break after two difficult courses !
We can receive you on a pitch, in one of our mobile homes (4/6 persons and 5/6 persons), of our tipi homes (4 persons) or of our POD chalets (2/4 persons), in one of our lodges (4 persons) or in a MARABOUT tent (8 places). Animals are accepted. We can also, on the spot and in good conditions, receive your donkeys.
Possibility of half-board in our restaurant-pizzeria "La Bergerie" on the banks of the Tarn.
